1.3. This Policy is designed to comply with the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Personal Data” (No. ZRU-547), the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
1.4. By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this Policy.
DATA WE COLLECT
2.1. Account Data: Email address, username, and authentication data via Google OAuth.
2.2. Meeting Data: Audio recordings of meetings, transcriptions (text), meeting titles, duration, timestamps, and metadata (language, file size).
2.3. Technical Data: IP address, browser type, device information, time zone, and usage logs.
2.4. Cookies: We use cookies for authentication, preference storage, and analytics.
PURPOSES OF DATA PROCESSING
3.1. We process your data to:

Provide AI-powered transcription and summarization services.

Organize and store your meeting records.

Improve Service quality and AI model accuracy (subject to your opt-out rights).

Provide technical support and comply with legal obligations.

CROSS-BORDER DATA TRANSFER
4.1. Global Processing: To provide our AI features, your data (including audio recordings) may be transferred to and processed on servers operated by our trusted cloud providers (such as Google Cloud, AWS, or others) located outside the Republic of Uzbekistan.
4.2. Consent: By using the Service, you provide your explicit consent to the cross-border transfer of your personal data for processing purposes as described herein.
DATA SHARING & THIRD PARTIES
5.1. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
5.2. We may share data with service providers who assist in operating our infrastructure (cloud hosting, AI processing).
5.3. We may disclose data if required by law or by valid requests from public authorities.
RECORDING CONSENT (USER RESPONSIBILITY)
6.1. Mandatory Notification: The User is solely responsible for obtaining explicit consent from all meeting participants before initiating any recording or uploading audio/video content to the Service.
6.2. Legal Compliance: You must comply with all applicable local and international laws regarding the recording of conversations. The Company is not liable for any unauthorized recordings made by the User.
INTERNATIONAL RIGHTS (GDPR & CCPA)
7.1. EEA/UK Users (GDPR): You have the right to access, rectify, or erase your data, the right to data portability, and the right to restrict or object to certain processing.
7.2. California Residents (CCPA): You have the right to request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect, and the right to request the deletion of your information.

AI TRAINING & OPT-OUT
8.1. We may use anonymized data to improve our machine learning models.
8.2. You may choose to opt-out of having your data used for AI training purposes through your account settings or by contacting support.
DATA SECURITY & RETENTION
9.1. We implement industry-standard encryption and organizational measures to protect your data.
9.2. Retention: Account data is kept as long as the account is active. Meeting recordings are stored for [Insert period, e.g., 90 days] unless deleted earlier by the User or specified otherwise in the selected plan.
BROWSER EXTENSION (MEETFLOW RECORDER)
10.1. The MeetFlow Recorder extension captures audio from browser tabs only with the User's active permission.
10.2. Data captured by the extension is transmitted directly to the Company’s secure servers for transcription and is not stored permanently within the extension itself.
